MANILA, Philippines — Senator Manny Pacquiao still won’t confirm nor deny his supposed plan to run for the presidency in the 2022 national elections but said that being the highest official in the country is a “God-given destiny.”
“Ang pagiging presidente ay destiny na kaloob ng Panginoon. Marami nang nangarap, marami na ring nabigo. Ngunit ang hangad ko sa susunod na magiging presidente ay may tunay na malasakit at tunay na pagmamahal sa mamamayang Pilipino,” Pacquiao said in a video statement sent to reporters.
