MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine government has suspended the operation of several businesses in general community quarantine (GCQ) areas until April 4, Malacaang said Friday amid the surge in COVID-19 cases.
In an online briefing, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said the operation of the following businesses will be suspended:
driving schools
traditional cinemas
videos and interactive game arcades
libraries
archives
museums and cultural events
limited social events
DOT-accredited establishments except open-air tourist attractions
