Quezon logs 119 new COVID-19 cases

LUCENA CITY — Quezon province has recorded a surge in the number of new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases over the past week, health authorities reported.

From March 6 to 13, a total of 119 new COVID-19 cases were recorded, including 64 active cases and 55 recoveries.

Three patients also perished during the same period.

In its 10 a.m. bulletin Saturday (March 13), the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) disclosed that the present number of active cases is at 189 from only 126 on March 6.
