MANILA, Philippines — More than 19,700 applicants have accomplished the first step in joining the law enforcement after they took the Philippine National Police Academy Cadet Admission Test (PNPACAT).
A total of 19,760 or 76.55 percent out of 25,811 registrants have taken the exam. About 11,903 took the exam on the first day, March 7, while 7,857 on the second day, March 8, PNP chief General Debold Sinas said in a statement on Monday.
Sinas explained that PNPA “does not prescribe” a passing grade however only the top 1,000 examinees will be required to undergo physical and mental screening before they can be admitted for training.
