LUCENA CITY — From the highest tally of 1,119 active Covid-19 cases daily more than three months ago, the present number of patients in Quezon province went down to 171 on Feb. 27.
Records of the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) show that the highest tally of 1,119 active cases in the twice-a-day count was recorded on Nov. 12 last year. It dropped to 343 on Feb. 1, even after the holiday season, and further fell to 164 on Feb. 25 which is the lowest recorded daily tally of active cases.
In its 10 a.m. bulletin on Saturday (Feb. 27), the IPHO disclosed that the number of active virus carriers in Quezon is down to only 171.
