LUCENA CITY — The Covid-19 death toll in Batangas province has soared to 407, authorities said Friday (Feb. 26).
The Batangas Provincial Public Information Office, citing the latest bulletin from the Provincial Health Office (PHO) on Feb. 26 at 3 p.m., disclosed that two validated virus carriers in Batangas City and Rosario town have died. The day before, a Covid-19 patient in Laurel town also died.
On Feb. 22, the PHO also reported the deaths of three Covid-19 patients in Santo Tomas City and the towns of Malvar and Rosario.
No details on the latest fatalities were given.
