MANILA, Philippines — Giving the Philippine Drug Enforcement (PDEA) the sole mandate to conduct anti-drug operations could weaken the Duterte administration’s war against illegal drugs, Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa said Friday.
“You cannot wage, as desired by the President,…an all-out war against the drug problem dahil kukulangin talaga. Hindi talaga kakayanin ng PDEA sa bigat ng problem [It would not be enough.
