In a seemingly unusual case of impaired driving, an intoxicated driver called the police to report the crime the driver had committed in Ontario, Canada.
The driver, whose identity was withheld, was found driving in Oakville after he made the call, the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) disclosed on Twitter on Feb. 22.
“This might be a first for us. Driver calls 911 to report an Impaired Driver; themselves,” police said.

Officers located the driver on our Oakville roads and safely arrested them for Impaired Driving.
The driver was 4X over the legal limit.
