LUCENA CITY —- At least seven more people have died from coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Cavite province as of Wednesday, Feb. 24.
The Provincial Health Office (PHO) reported on Wednesday that the COVID-19 death toll in the province since March last year had risen to 571.
The PHO did not give details on the deaths.
The Provincial Information and Communication Affairs Department of Cavite posted a copy of the PHO report on its Facebook page.
Health authorities also reported 131 more COVID-19 patients to the list. At least 24 of them are new cases. The 107 were only lately registered.
