LUCENA CITY —- At least four motorists were injured after a wayward cargo truck barreled into six other vehicles along the Quirino Highway in Tagkawayan town in Quezon province shortly before midnight Tuesday, Feb. 23, the police said.
Major Marcelito Platino, Tagkawayan police chief, said in a report that a cargo truck driven by Mario Delos Santos crashed into the row of six other vehicles ahead of him in one section of the highway in Barangay San Francisco around 11 p.m.
The report said the six vehicles – three vans, two sport utility vehicles, and one pick-up – temporarily stopped while waiting for their turn to cross the one-way-lane traffic.
