MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 5.2 earthquake struck off Sarangani in Davao Occidental on Wednesday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Information from Phivolcs’ website showed the quake struck 318 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 6:25 a.m.
The earthquake had a depth of focus of 79 kilometers.
Phivolcs said no intensity was reported and that no damage and aftershocks are expected from the tremor.
