LUCENA CITY —- The police rescued a Chinese national, who was allegedly detained by a compatriot in Bian City in Laguna province late evening Monday, Feb. 22.
Colonel Serafin Fortuno Petetalio II, Laguna police chief, said in a report that local Special Weapons and Tactics team members rescued the Chinese, who was not identified, in Las Villas de Manila Subdivision in Barangay San Francisco around 11:30 p.m.
The report said the Bian City police station received information from a concerned citizen about a Chinese person, who was being illegally detained in the subdivision.
