MANILA, Philippines — Customers of Maynilad Water Services Inc. may experience water service interruptions until Nov. 29 as the concessionaire continues to clean up water basins in its treatment plant.
In an advisory on Tuesday, Maynilad said it is still removing sludge from the third basin of the treatment plant, which will take longer than expected.
Based on their latest estimate, it will take five more days to fully clean up the basin, to ramp up the water production in the treatment plan, and to fill up the reservoir.
