LUCENA CITY —- Police in Cavite province have arrested 159 suspected criminals and law violators, 41 of them drug suspects, in synchronized operations on Feb. 10 and 11.
Colonel Marlon Santos, Cavite police chief, said in a report that the 41 alleged drug pushers were collared in 22 buy-bust operations in the cities of Dasmarias, General Trias, Trece Martires, Tagaytay, and Bacoor, and the towns of Rosario, Naic, Gen. Mariano Alvarez, Noveleta, Indang, Alfonso, Magallanes, Carmona, and Ternate.
Authorities seized 115 plastic sachets of shabu (crystal meth), an undisclosed amount of cash believed to be from drug sales, and drug paraphernalia.
