MANILA, Philippines — Vehicles would still need either an emission or private motor vehicle inspection clearance prior to registration, Malacaang said Friday.
“Meron tayong clarification. Bagamat ang Pangulo po ay nagsabi na hindi dapat ipatupad ang Motor Vehicle Inspection, kinakailangan pa rin po na magsubmit ng either yung emission clearance or MVIS [motor vehicle inspection system],” presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said in a televised briefing.
