CITY OF CALAPAN — Police in the region of Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan (Mimaropa) arrested 98 persons during 23 operations from Feb. 1 to 7, a report said on Tuesday (Feb. 9).
Lt. Col. Imelda Tolentino, Mimaropa police information officer, said the operations were part of a nationwide all-out war on crimes.
Of those arrested, 63 were during operations against wanted persons. At least 35 were for violations of special laws. Eleven of the arrested wanted persons were on most wanted lists.
Two guns were seized during the operations, dubbed Oplan Katok.
