LUCENA CITY, Philippines — At least 55 more new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases were recorded in Batangas province on Feb. 5 and 6, authorities disclosed.
The Batangas Provincial Public Information Office (PIO) disclosed on social media on Saturday (Feb. 6) that the total number of Covid-19 cases in the province jumped to 12,509 from the 12,454 tally on Feb. 4.
The current death toll in Batangas also rose to 388 with the death of another validated virus carrier from Tanauan City on Feb. 5. No details on the latest Covid-19 fatality were given.
