LUCENA CITY — Cavite police arrested 38 drug suspects in a two-day synchronized operations in the province on Feb. 5 and 6.
The alleged drug pushers were nabbed by anti-narcotic agents in 23 buy-bust operations in the cities of Cavite, Dasmarias, Bacoor and the towns of Tanza, Kawit, General Mariano Alvarez, Maragondon, Naic, Alfonso and Mendez, Police Colonel Marlon Santos, Cavite police director, said in a report posted on social media Saturday afternoon.
Authorities seized a total of 107 plastic sachets of shabu (crystal meth), 10 sachets of dried marijuana leaves, an undisclosed amount of cash believed to be from drug sales, and drug paraphernalia.
