MANILA, Philippines — Some medical schools in the City of Manila have offered to join the local government unit’s (LGU) team of vaccinators for the Covid-19 inoculation program, Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso said Friday.
Domagoso noted that the medical students from these schools would augment the doctors, nurses, and public health workers of the LGU for its local vaccination drive.
“Ang good news is nagvo-volunteer ngayon ‘yung mga medical school, ‘yung mga estudyante nila sa nurse, doctors. Tutulong sa amin so we will have more extra hands, professionals to handle the vaccination,” he told ABS-CBN News Channel.
