CITY OF CALAPAN—Two men wanted for child abuse cases were arrested by police on Wednesday (Feb. 3) here.
Police from Calapan and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) region arrested Teresito Dagus, 57, at the village of Manapi around 11 a.m. and Federico Domingo, 50, at the village of San Rafael past noon.
A report by Calapan police said warrants of arrest, both dated Jan. 25, had been issued for the two men for violation of the anti-child abuse law, or Republic Act No. 7610. No details were given by the report to protect the children victims.
