MANILA, Philippines — Police and local government units were directed to go after individuals stealing power cables and using illegal jumpers to ensure “continued electric service” for consumers, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) said Saturday.
“We received reports on the theft of power cables and rampant use of illegal jumpers, especially in informal settler communities.
