MANILA, Philippines —Thirty-three additional Filipinos abroad were sickened with new coronavirus disease (Covid-19), increasing the total tally of Covid-19-infected Filipinos living in other countries to 13,938.
As of 6 p.m., the Department of Foreign Affairs also recorded 4,069 Filipinos abroad who are still undertaking treatment in hospitals.
DFA also reported 26 new recoveries and five more fatalities among Filipinos in other countries. This raised the total count of Covid-19 recoveries and deaths to 8,919 and 950, respectively.
