CEBU CITY —- From thousands in June, the number of active coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in Cebu province is down to 50.
The Dec. 28 report of the Provincial Health Office (PHO) shows that 14 are in hospitals while 36 others are in quarantine centers.
At least 32 towns and two component cities are now free from COVID-19.
Cebu province has 44 towns and six component cities. During the surge of infections, all towns and cities registered COVID-19 cases.
The PHO report shows that Cebu registered a total of 6,957 COVID-19 cases since March.
