MANILA, Philippines — How about the 99 percent of cops in the Philippine National Police (PNP) who are good cops?
Interior Secretary Eduardo Ao on Wednesday bewailed the generalization of critics of the entire police force following the brutal killing of an elderly women and her adult son by a policeman in Paniqui, Tarlac last December 20.
Ao insisted that the case ofPolice Master Sergeant Nuezca is an isolated one.
“Kaya natin sinabi na isolated case, kasi gine-generalize nila [public]. Papaano naman iyong matitino na police natin na 99 percent na matino at sila iyong nagpapatupad ng quarantine protocols. Sila iyong nakikipaglaban sa criminal,” said Ao in an interview with dz…
