TD Vicky maintains strength ahead of landfall in Davao Oriental

MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Depression Vicky maintained its strength while moving closer to Davao Oriental, the weather state bureau reported Friday afternoon.

In its 2 p.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Vicky is expected to make a landfall in the vicinity of Baganga-Caraga area in Davao Oriental between 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.
