8 senior citizens beat COVID-19 in San Pablo City

LUCENA CITY — A 92-year-old man and seven other senior citizens — four females and three males ages 60 t0 88 — have recovered from the dreaded coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in San Pablo City, Laguna, health authorities reported on Saturday.

The eight elderlies were among the latest 26 recuperated COVID-19 patients in the city, San Pablo City’s Anti-COVID-19 Task Force said in a bulletin issued on May 22 at 6 p.m. The latest group of recovered virus carriers also includes a 1-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy.

The authorities have also recorded 15 new COVID-19 patients. Among them are three male elderlies, aged 62, 64, and 66.
