ANGELES CITY, Pampanga —- This highly urbanized city registered 37 new cases of COVID-19 while the nearby Pampanga’s capital city of San Fernando registered 38 new ones on Sunday, May 30, data from the two local governments showed.
In its latest bulletin, the city government here said a resident died of the viral disease in Barangay Ninoy Aquino, bringing its COVID-19 death toll to 256.
The total number of cases here as of May 30 was 5,861, of which 455 were still active. Some 5,150 COVID-19 patients have also recovered from the disease.
