TAGBILARAN CITY —- A resident of Garcia Hernandez town in Bohol province died in a hospital shortly after being admitted due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Dr. Cesar Tomas Lopez, spokesperson of the Bohol Inter-Agency Task Force (BIATF), said the latest fatality was a 73-year-old male from Barangay West-Lungsodaan in Garcia Hernandez, who died at Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital (GCGMH).
He was the 15th COVID-19 fatality in the province.
The COVID Management Team in Garcia-Hernandez said the 14-year-old grandson of the fatality also contracted the virus.
It said all contacts have been isolated for close monitoring.
