6 suspects fall in Lucena, Antipolo drugs busts

LUCENA CITY —- Police arrested six suspects and seized over P400,000 worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) in separate drug busts in the cities of Lucena and Antipolo on Thursday and Friday.

In Lucena, an alleged member of a drug group was caught early on Friday, May 7, while three other suspected drug pushers were arrested on Thursday, May 6, police said.

Lt. Col. Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, said anti-narcotics agents collared Mark Elgene Abella, 23, in a sting operation in the coastal village of Dalahican at 2 a.m. Friday.

Authorities seized two sachets of shabu valued at P90,370 in the street market.
