MANILA, Philippines — Another batch of 50,000 doses of the Russian-made Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine arrived in the Philippines on Sunday.
The additional doses arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) on Qatar Airways Flight QR928, according to the National Task Force (NTF) against COVID-19 in a series of tweets.

The NTF said the vaccine doses were transported to the PharmaServ Warehouse in Marikina City for storage, and will be deployed to “centers of gravity” or areas in the country that are experiencing surges in COVID-19 cases.
