MANILA, Philippines — Half of the over 10 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine so far administered in the Philippines was given this month of June alone, the National Task Force against COVID-19 (NTF) said Monday.
NTF deputy chief implementer Vince Dizon noted the faster pace of vaccination, saying the country’s first five million doses took three months to administer.
“Alam niyo nung March to May, ang total nating nabakunahan, limang milyon sa buong bansa. Tatlong buwan yun, 90 days,” Dizon said in an event in Valenzuela City.
