SAN ANTONIO, Zambales —- A magnitude 5.7 earthquake jolted this province at 3:24 p.m. on Thursday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
In a bulletin issued by Phivolcs, the tectonic earthquake’s epicenter was located 60 kilometers southwest of Sta. Cruz town. It had a depth of 16 km.
The temblor is not likely to cause damage, but aftershocks may occur, it said. INQ
