MANILA, Philippines — A local charity foundation lauded four local artists for their watercolor depictions of the Filipino’s indomitable spirit amid the raging COVID-19 pandemic.
In a contest organized by Gifts and Graces Fair Trade Foundation Inc. and the Philippine Guild of Watercolorists, Cebu-based artist Eduardo Solano won the grand prize for hi “Mananagat,” a depiction of Filipino fishermen.
The second prize went to Jarsen Lacson for his “Batang Panday” which depicts a young man busy with metalwork.
