LUCENA CITY —- Four persons, including a ranking officer of the Philippine National Police, died and two others were injured after a cargo truck hit three other vehicles in Nasugbu town in Batangas province Friday morning, police said.
Major Jun Bautista, Nasugbu police chief, said in a report that a trailer truck loaded with steel beams and driven by Edgar Adesas was negotiating a descending section of the highway, when it crashed into three other oncoming vehicles — a Toyota Wigo, a Toyota Vios, and a Toyota Fortuner – in Barangay Aga around 7 a.m.
