(Eagle News) — A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur early Sunday, June 6. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck at 4:28 a.m. It had its epicenter 56 kilometers northeast of Hinatuan. The following intensities and instrumental intensities were reported: Reported Intensities: Intensity III -Bislig City Instrumental Intensity Intensity I -Bislig City No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
