MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Sunday logged three new COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad, bringing the total to 11,674.
Some 3,263 remain under treatmentwhile the number of recoveries increased to 7,565 after one patient recovered from the disease, according to DFA figures.
On the other hand, no COVID-related death was reported among overseas Filipinos. The death toll stayed at 846.
The DFA said it “remains fully committed to monitoring the situation of overseas Filipinos who are affected by the pandemic and remains steadfast in promoting and protecting their welfare.”
