2,000 soldiers in Zambo register for vaccine injections

ZAMBOANGA CITY—More than 2,000 government soldiers had registered here for vaccination in March when supply arrives.

Col. Randolph Rojas, commander of Joint Task Force Zamboanga, said the soldiers from two battalions had listed up to get vaccinated.

In the priority list prepared by the Department of Health (DOH) first in line for vaccination are health workers, followed by senior citizens, indigents and men in uniform.

Dr. Dulce Miravite, Zamboanga City health chief, said the vaccination enlistment for security forces is ongoing.

Two weeks ago, the health office had counted more than 6,000 health workers who registered for vaccination.
