SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—Two women from the province, who were set to leave for abroad, had tested positive for SARS Cov2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19, on Wednesday (March 10), authorities said.
Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said one of them is a 73-year-old resident of the US who went home in this town for vacation in September 2020.
She experienced symptoms of COVID-19 before she got tested a a requirement for travel to the United States.
The other patient is a 38-year-old overseas Filipino worker in Sta. Cruz town. She has tested positive for the virus before her scheduled return abroad.
