LEGAZPI CITY —- At least two alleged drug pushers were killed, and another was wounded in a shootout with anti-narcotics police in separate drug stings on Wednesday and Thursday (Feb. 10 and 11), in the Bicol region, a police report said.
The first fatality was identified as Abdul Jalil Baute, a high-value target drug pusher, who allegedly resisted arrest and died in a firefight with police operatives in Barangay Bautista, Labo, Camarines Norte around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Recovered from the crime scene were a 9-mm Luger handgun, two sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth), and P500 in marked money.
