CEBU CITY —- Two persons are facing charges after they were arrested by agents of the National Bureau of Investigation in Central Visayas (NBI-7) on Thursday for allegedly selling fake swab test results at the Cebu City port.
Rogelio Sumalinog Nebres, 40; and Rakim Sultan Busara, 19—both residents of Cebu City—were accused of selling negative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) tests for P1,500.
In a press statement, the NBI-7 said the fake RT-PCR tests were sold to ferry passengers that leave the Cebu Port for Bohol province.
