LUCENA CITY —- Two drug suspects were killed in buy-bust operations that ended in alleged armed encounters in Cavite province over the past two days, the police said.
Colonel Marlon Santos, Cavite police chief, said in a report Thursday that one of the drug pushers, Luisito Pineda, was killed on the same day in a drug sting at Barangay Ibayo Silangan in Naic town.
The police reportedly found one caliber .22 pistol with five bullets and two empty shells from Pineda’s body.
Operatives also recovered 13 plastic sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth), the police added.
