MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) reported another 155 COVID-related deaths on Thursday, raising the fatality count to 23,276.
According to the DOH, this represents 1.74 percent of all the 1.33 million confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country since the pandemic began.
Of the total count, 58,407 remain active infections, of which 1.8 percent are severe and 1.3 percent are critical that are at higher risk for death.
The DOH said 95.6 percent of all the cases are mild and asymptomatic, while 1.3 percent of the cases are moderate infections.
