SAN ANTONIO, Zambales —- At least 14 new cases and one fatality were added to the growing tally of COVID-19 in this province on Wednesday.
In a statement, Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said the fatality was a 77-year-old woman from the capital town of Iba, who died on May 1. She was the province’s 48th patient who succumbed to COVID-19 complications.
Among the new COVID-19 patients in the province is a 37-year-old nurse, a resident of Subic town but works in a public hospital in Olongapo City.
She was infected along with her 37-year-old husband and their children aged 10 and 13.
