LUCENA CITY —- At least 14 cockpits were allowed to resume cockfighting in Cavite province with temporary permits given by Gov. Jonvic Remulla.
On Monday, Feb. 1, Remulla issued Executive Order No. 2 — series 2021 that allows the temporary operation of licensed cockpits in Tagaytay City, Cavite City, Bacoor City, Dasmarias City, General Trias City, and the towns of Kawit, Ternate, Tanza, Alfonso, Indang, Naic, and Silang.
Each of the cockpits has been given their respective schedules of operations that started Tuesday, Feb. 2, and will last until March 31.
