14 barangays in Manila to be put on 4-day lockdown due to COVID-19 surge

MANILA, Philippines — At least 14 barangays in the City of Manila will be placed under a four-day lockdown amid rising COVID-19 cases in the National Capital Region (NCR), Mayor Isko Moreno announced on Friday.

The lockdown would start on Monday, March 22, 12:01 a.m. and end on Thursday, March 25, 11:59 p.m., the mayor said.

The barangays that will be on lockdown are the following:

In Barangay 353, the whole Kusang Loob Street in Sta. Cruz, Manila would be placed on a lockdown, while the whole NYK Fil-Ship Management Building in Barangay 658 would be placed on a clustering lockdown, Moreno said.
