MANILA, Philippines—Malacaang on Saturday announced that 110 beds have been added at the Quezon Institute in Quezon City to accommodate more COVID-19 patients.
Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, during his briefing on the extension of the enhanced community quarantine in Matro Manila and in four nearby provinces, said the beds will be for patients with moderate and severe cases.
The Philippines has 165,716 active COVID-19 cases after 12,576 new cases were recorded Saturday by the Department of Health.
