MANILA, Philippines — Some 1.5 million doses of CoronaVac, the COVID-19 vaccine from the Chinese drug firm Sinovac Biotech are to arrive in the Philippines on Thursday, June 17, the National Task Force (NTF) against COVID-19 said.
In a media advisory on Wednesday, the NTF said the doses will be delivered via a Cebu Pacific flight (5J 671), which is expected to land at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 at 7:30 a.m.
This shipment will be the third batch of Sinovac vaccines to be delivered to the Philippines in June.
The first batch of one million doses arrived on June 6, while the second batch was delivered on June 10.
