Filipina rookie golf sensation Bianca Pagdanganan tied for 68th place and finished the Ladies Professional Golf Association-CME Group Tour Championship on Monday (Philippine time) at the Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida.

After three subpar rounds in the tournament, Pagdanganan finally played her best golf on the culminating round as she recorded a double-bogey-free outing. But it was too little too late as she staled on the near-bottom of the leaderboard.

Pagdanganan started round four steadily with four pars in a row and slowed down with a fourth-round lone bogey at hole five. She then birdied the 6th, 7th and 8th holes and another par before heading to the back nine.

Come second half, she parred the 10th, 11th and 12th holes before sinking her final birdie of the competition, followed by five more even holes for the total tournament score of nine-over-par.

Despite her brilliant round four showings, Pagdanganan hardly moved up the standings and ended at the shared 68th place, just a couple of spots better than her third-round output with American Angela Stanford.

South Korean Jin Young Ko, who moved back to second place in Day Three, topped all lady golfers with seven birdies in the final canto for the total tournament score of eighteen-under-par to win the title and $1.1-million prize money.

Australian Hannah Green took the shared second place with Day Three tournament-leader, South Korean Sei Young Kim with a tournament-total score of 13 under par.

With the joint 68th place finish, Pagdanganan pocketed $5,189 and officially put her LPGA rookie season in the books.

Pagdanganan became famous in the LPGA with her league-best driving average of almost 300 yards.
