Villar-led AllHome Corp. introduced its 50th store with the opening of their specialty store AllDigital in Las Piñas City.
In a statement on Wednesday, the listed home improvement retailer said AllDigital features a wide array of gadgets including laptops, cellphones, cameras, drones, e-scooters and collectible toys.
“As the pandemic pushes us to adopt technology faster, AllHome enters the tech world, further expanding its offering for the Appliances category and targeting a brand new market. This involves creating a tech hub that houses nothing but the best-selling premium products today. It’s a place where gadget enthusiasts can come together and even learn from one another,” AllHome Chair Manuel Villar was quoted as saying.
“AllDigital is the core for both play and innovation. It is also a testament to AllHome’s innovative mindset and its capability to quickly adapt to changing customer needs,” he added.
The launch of AllDigital brings AllHome’s total store network to 50, of which 39 are in Mega Manila; six in Luzon outside Mega Manila; and five in the Visayas and Mindanao.
“AllDigital has curated the latest and innovative tech brands in the country in one store. This is the one-stop shop for all your technology needs for your home and home office. It puts great value in offering only the best original merchandise,” AllHome Vice Chair Camille Villar said.
AllHome saw its nine-month net income slump by 21.2 percent year-on-year to P588 million amid a weak second quarter performance.
The shares of AllHome climbed 18 centavos or 2.09 percent to finish at P8.80 each on Wednesday.
