Park officials spotted a “massive” goldfish that weighed nine pounds while doing a routine test at a lake in South Carolina in the United States.
The team found the animal on Nov. 16 in Oak Grove Lake, as per NBC News earlier today, Dec. 9 The Greenville County Rec also posted a photo of the huge catch on its Facebook page on Dec. 7 while stating how they saw it.
“The work included electrofishing, a method of measuring the health of the fish population,” it said.
